Pre-development &
Product development
Do you need something completely new to solve demanding tasks in defense technology?
Do you already have an idea of what the requirements are?
Different approaches require different perspectives. Can we achieve a result using familiar solutions, or do we need to think completely outside the box, with new materials, new manufacturing processes, and new combinations? We address this by having two independent development departments: preliminary development and product development.
In pre-development, we deal with materials and technologies for which there are no applications yet. We experiment to expand our "toolbox." Or we work on projects that we have not yet been able to implement with our existing processes.
In product development, we work on specific projects based on materials and manufacturing technologies that are familiar to us.
Design &
Prototypes
All relevant aspects, especially those relating to defense technology, are taken into account right from the design and construction stage. We like to work closely with our customers to find the best solution together.
Once the design is promising, we produce a prototype that is as close to series production as possible. This usually allows initial experience to be gained. We produce further prototypes for optimization purposes. Only when the result is satisfactory is the design finalized and the series tools and fixtures manufactured, often in our own tool shop.
Our experience has shown that significant optimizations take place and ideas are developed and implemented, particularly in the prototype construction phase.
Project management
Project management has been practiced within the company for many years, across all stages of development. A clearly defined process for project management and a transparent communication structure form the basis for successful cooperation with our customers and suppliers.
We are experienced in managing projects. Simple products and complex projects with many individual parts are handled according to the same principle.
Toolmaking and industrial engineering
Our toolmaking department is an essential link in the development chain. The machining steps for our tools are carried out in state-of-the-art machining centers, among other places, and then receive their final finish in our own toolmaking department. We manufacture fixtures and smaller mechanical devices ourselves. Using 3D printing, we can quickly produce components that give us an idea of what solutions might look like.
Our employees in operational engineering are able to carry out the most important repairs independently. The degree of dependence on external services is low.
Customized
Series production
As a full-service supplier, we have to operate independently in each individual work step. This is particularly true when products are subject to special quality requirements, such as in defense technology. With our specialized machinery and our own toolmaking department, we have everything in-house and are not dependent on suppliers. We can manufacture, modify, and change almost everything ourselves. This also ensures delivery reliability.
